The Mattress Lab Approach

At Mattress Lab, we design custom sleep solutions. We can vary the configuration of the mattress to suit almost any comfort or health requirement you have. Our support system can be specifically adjusted for body alignment in any of the back, side or stomach sleeping positions. This mattress can be adjusted to meet the unique requirements of any male or female weighing at least 80 lbs. There is no weight limit. The left and right sides of our queen and king size mattresses are configured individually. Since personal preferences vary dramatically, the customer can choose from a wide variety of top layers - memory foam, 3 mesh and thermo regulating foam are just a few of the selections available.

Spine Alignment:

• The Mattress Lab mattress offers a unique customized sleep solution. Spine alignment is a key component; however, we look at much more than spinal alignment. Proper alignment of the entire body in whatever sleeping position the patient prefers, including legs, hips, shoulders and neck, is accomplished on this mattress.

Weight Distribution:

• Using a state of the art computerized pressure measuring system, we evaluate over 1000 contact points for pressure load and weight concentration. This is one of the key factors in reducing tossing and turning, which results in a more restful, nights sleep with an even distribution of body weight. You will spend more time in the higher quality, most restorative, stages of sleep.

Heat and Body Moisture Distribution:

• Personal preferences are emphasized during the fitting process. As such, the ability to influence the heat signature of the body and dissipation of normal moisture through a choice of materials exists.

Customizing The Mattress

As a first step, an interview is conducted with the customer, which covers their physiological requirements. Key measurements are taken, and a computerized pressure map graph is generated, which gives us insight on how to begin structuring the mattress to match the customer’s individual profile. Following the initial interview and measurement gathering process, a prototype of the mattress, with the appropriate core combination and chosen top layer materials, is created. The interior mattress core contains eight independent support zones of varying width and firmness.
